This guide is for performers and producers who want adult video on DesiPvt to be watchable, reviewable, and easier to feature. Clear pictures and sound help viewers stay, and they help reviewers confirm age and consent. When earnings are on, stronger files are also easier to recommend.
It does not replace the Content Submission Guidelines, Content Guidelines, or 2257 record-keeping. Every performer must be 18 or older, with government ID checked before cameras roll. Do not film anyone who cannot consent.
The stills below are lighting and camera examples only. They are not scenes from DesiPvt and they are not a dress code. Use them as a checklist while you shoot.
1 Put light on faces
Place the main light in front of the performers, not behind them. A window to the side-front is enough for most rooms. If the window is behind the camera subject, faces go dark and reviewers cannot see who is in the file.
2 Lamps work after dark
At night, use a lamp or ring light aimed at the body and face. One practical light in front is better than a ceiling bulb that leaves eye sockets black. Let the background fall off; expose for skin, not the whole room.
3 Keep faces in the scene
Show who is performing. A file that never shows a face is harder to review, harder to credit, and easier to reject. Mix wide and close shots, but come back to the face often — especially at the start and after a cut.
4 Do not stand across the room
If the performer is a small shape in a wide living room, viewers cannot see the scene and we cannot tell who is on camera. Move in until face and body are both readable, or use a longer lens from a closer mark.
5 Do not lock one extreme crop
A whole video that never leaves a tight body crop hides the performers and looks like a clip, not a scene. Close-ups belong in the mix. They should not be the only shot. Return to a frame that includes the face after detail shots.
6 Change angle once in a while
One locked tripod is fine for a short scene. Longer files feel cheap if the crop never changes. A second camera, a slow push, or a cut to a 45-degree angle after a pause is enough. POV works when the lens sits near eye level and the performer can look into it.
7 Clean the set
Hide laundry, dishes, kids’ things, mail, and other people’s faces in photos on the wall. A made bed and empty nightstand read as intentional. Clutter pulls the eye off the performers and can leak real-world identity.
8 Keep the camera still
Use a tripod, a clamp, or a stack of books. Handheld is fine for a few seconds of energy, not for the whole file. Fast shaking, snap-zooms, and rolling the phone on a bed are common reject reasons because we cannot see who is performing.
9 Record audio you can hear
Turn off TVs, fans on high, and music you do not own. A small mic on the camera or a clip-on lav is enough. Voices, breath, and performance sound should be louder than the fridge. Broken or silent audio can stall a review even when the picture is fine.
10 Clothes that make sense on camera
Start dressed if the scene starts dressed. Layers that come off in frame look better than beginning already undressed with no setup. Keep wardrobe adult. Do not use school, child, or “teen” styling — that is banned in the Content Guidelines regardless of performer age.
11 Build the scene
Give the file a start: talk, kiss, undress, or look at the lens before the sex. Natural reactions read better than a silent stare at the wall. After climax, leave a short ending so the file does not cut like a glitch. Prefer 1080p or higher, and keep one orientation for the whole upload.
12 Title and thumbnail from this video
Name the scene as it is. Do not promise celebrities, underage characters, or non-consent as a real act. The thumbnail should be a still from the same file, without another site’s logo or a face that never appears in the video.
What we reject from a production standpoint
Hidden-camera sex that captures people who did not agree to be filmed, files too dark or too shaky to identify performers, misleading thumbs, and anything that fails age or consent checks. Production quality will not save illegal content.
Upload rules, credits, and technical limits are in the Content Submission Guidelines. How to appear as a credited performer is on Become a Model.
