Overview
DesiPvt complies with applicable law while protecting user privacy. This page explains how authorised law enforcement agencies and government authorities may submit requests relating to our services. It is not a channel for ordinary user reports — those use Contact, Illegal Content Reporting, or Content Removal Request.
How to submit a request
Send the request through the Contact page or email admin@savedl.net. Put Law enforcement in the subject line.
To process a request efficiently, include:
- The name of the requesting agency or authority
- Contact information for the requesting officer or representative (official email and phone where possible)
- The legal basis for the request
- A detailed description of the information or content requested
- Relevant URLs, usernames, account IDs, IP addresses, or other identifiers
- Copies of any applicable court orders, warrants, subpoenas, or other legally binding documents
- Any applicable deadlines
- For emergencies: clearly mark the request as an emergency and describe the imminent threat (see below)
Incomplete requests may need more information before they can be reviewed and may be delayed.
User information
We protect the privacy of our users.
- We do not voluntarily disclose user information to law enforcement or other government authorities unless required or permitted by applicable law, or necessary to address an emergency involving an imminent threat of death or serious physical harm
- User information may be disclosed where required or permitted by law, including in response to a valid court order, warrant, or other legally binding process
- Where legally permitted, we may notify affected users before disclosing their information
- We retain user information only as long as needed for legitimate business, legal, and security purposes. Some information requested by law enforcement may no longer be available at the time of the request
See also the Privacy Policy.
Review process
Each request is reviewed to determine whether it is legally valid, appropriately scoped, and submitted by an authorised representative of a legitimate authority.
Where permitted by law, we may seek clarification or ask for additional documentation before responding. We reserve the right to object to or decline requests that are unlawful, overly broad, or otherwise inconsistent with applicable legal requirements.
Emergency requests
If a request relates to an imminent threat involving death or serious physical harm:
- Clearly indicate in the subject line that the request is an emergency
- Describe the nature of the emergency with enough detail for us to assess urgency
- Provide official contact details so we can verify the requester quickly
Emergency requests are prioritised for review. Use this channel only where there is a genuine imminent threat of death or serious physical harm.
International requests
Requests from authorities outside the jurisdiction in which the operator of DesiPvt is established may require additional legal process (for example mutual legal assistance) before they can be fulfilled.
Fraudulent or unauthorised requests
We reserve the right to verify the identity and authority of any requesting agency, officer, or government representative. Requests that cannot be verified, that lack appropriate legal authority, or that appear fraudulent may be declined. Impersonating law enforcement is prohibited and may be reported.
Updates
We may update this page to reflect changes in law, regulation, industry practice, or our procedures. Updates are published here and the date at the top will change.
