Introduction
MyFsiBlog uses automatic data-collection technologies to gather information about how people interact with the site. This Cookie Notice explains what those tools are, why we use them, and how you can control them. It works with the Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your web browser or downloaded to your device when you visit a site. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels or tags used by analytics or advertising partners. In this notice, “cookies” covers those tools unless we say otherwise.
Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
Required for MyFsiBlog to operate. Examples:
- Session login and security (`lume_sid` or the session name configured by the operator)
- The 18+ age gate confirmation (`lume_age_ok` or the age cookie name configured by the operator)
- CSRF and abuse-prevention tokens needed to submit forms safely
The site cannot provide login, age confirmation, or secure form submission without these.
Functionality cookies and local storage
Used to recognise you on return and remember preferences, such as:
- Light / dark theme preference (`lume-theme` in local storage)
- Sidebar compact or full layout (`lume-rail` in local storage)
- Player volume preference (`lume-volume` in local storage)
These improve comfort; blocking them may reset preferences each visit but usually does not block viewing.
Analytics cookies
Used to count visitors and see how people move through the site so we can improve performance and features. Analytics may be first-party server logs and, when enabled by the operator, a third-party tool such as Google Analytics (see below).
Targeting and advertising cookies
If ads or embeds are shown on MyFsiBlog, partners may record visits, pages viewed, and links followed to measure or, where enabled, tailor ads. These may apply to guests and registered members. We do not give advertisers your account password.
Cookie lifespan
- Session cookies expire when you close the browser (or shortly after the session ends)
- Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them (for example the age gate cookie may last for a set number of days)
Local storage items remain until you clear site data in your browser.
Your choices
You can adjust browser settings to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are sent. You can also clear cookies and local storage for MyFsiBlog.
If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site will not work (login, age confirmation, uploads, reports). Blocking analytics or advertising cookies may limit measurement and ad relevance but should not stop basic browsing.
Where a consent banner or preference centre is offered, use it to change optional cookie choices.
Do Not Track
Our systems do not currently recognise browser “Do Not Track” signals. You can still refuse optional cookies through browser settings and any consent tools we provide.
Google Analytics
If the operator enables Google Analytics in site settings, Google may set cookies and process usage data (including truncated IP information where anonymisation is configured) to provide analytics to us. Data may be processed on Google servers, including in the United States, under Google’s terms.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s published browser opt-out add-on or tools, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser. If Analytics is not enabled, this section does not apply until it is turned on.
Third-party cookies
Advertisers, payment providers, age-assurance vendors, and embedded media on MyFsiBlog may set their own cookies under their own privacy notices. Review those notices when you interact with their services.
