These rules apply to every video uploaded to DesiPvt. Follow them and review goes faster. Break them and the file is rejected, delayed, or removed later. This page works with the Content Production Guide, Content Guidelines, and 2257.
The stills below are upload examples only. They are not scenes from DesiPvt. Green means the pattern is usually accepted. Red means it usually fails.
Rights
Upload only original video you own or have a written licence to publish. You must be able to show age records for every performer. Credits on a video are names for viewers; they do not transfer ownership.
Allowed Your own shoot, a licensed scene you produced, or a file a performer authorised you to publish here.
Disapproved Scraped tube rips, leaked paywalled libraries, or files whose watermarks show another site as the source unless you are that producer.
Video quality
- Prefer 1080p or higher. Studio features should be 4K when that is what you actually have.
- One orientation for the whole file (landscape or portrait).
- No broken audio, freeze frames, mid-roll ads, slow-mo spam, or censorship bars that ruin the scene.
- No duplicate of a video already on DesiPvt unless your file is clearly higher quality or substantially longer.
Disapproved Shaky, dark, or soft files where faces cannot be checked.
Allowed Steady camera, faces readable, sound you can hear. Production tips are in the Content Production Guide.
Thumbnails
Use a clear frame from this video. The performer should be recognisable. Prefer a horizontal crop that matches the card. Vertical sources can be cropped; do not paste unrelated stills.
Allowed Sharp, well-lit still from the same file.
Disapproved Soft, dark, or grainy thumbs.
Disapproved Bad crops that cut the head or leave the subject tiny.
Disapproved Other sites’ watermarks, big clickbait text, borders, or arrows.
A small, discreet producer mark in a corner can be fine. A mark that covers the face or claims another platform is not.
Titles, description, tags
Allowed Short, accurate title. Name credited performers. Present-tense description of the actual scene. Tags and categories that match what is on screen.
Disapproved Empty hype (“must watch”, “shocking”), slurs, celebrity claims that are not true, underage “teen” framing, or tags for acts that never appear.
- One or two honest sentences in the description is enough.
- Pick categories that fit. Do not spam every category.
- Proofread before you submit.
Credits
Add creator and studio names when they apply. Credits tell viewers who appears in or produced the scene. They are not a second login. If someone else uploads for you, they need your permission and you remain responsible for the file.
Banned uploads
Disapproved These fail every time:
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18 — including AI, animation, or labelling that implies a minor.
- Deepfakes of real people without the depicted adult’s authorisation.
- Hidden-camera sex of people who did not agree to be filmed.
- Malware, password archives, or placeholder test files.
- Mass dumps of near-identical files in one day.
Illegal and policy bans are also in the Content Guidelines and Child Safety Policy. Production quality will not save banned material.
Before you hit upload
- Every performer was 18+ on the date of production, with ID and releases you can show.
- File is original, lit, and steady enough to review.
- Thumbnail is from this video, sharp, no foreign watermark.
- Title, tags, and credits match the scene.
